Tomo is the Japanese word meaning "Soulmates" or "Friends". This band consists of long time musical friends from the Los Angeles Area; Bob Sheppard on Sax/Flure, Larry Koonse Guitar, Bill Cunliffe Piano, Darek Oles Bass and Mark Ferber Drums. Their playing and sensitivity as a unit is almost telepathic. On this first self titled CD they play the music of Reed Kotler. Reed Kotler's works have been featured on several recent CDs, including one led by Bobby Shew and Gary Foster and one led by Bill Cunliffe and Gary Foster.
