Remastered limited edition reissue of the debut single from one of the most eccentric psychedelic soul outfits, led by the flamboyant Arthur Brown. While their subsequent release "Fire" would soar to #1 in the UK and #2 in USA, "Devil's Grip" didn't trouble the charts, but it stands as a noteworthy release that encapsulated the band's eerie and irresistible style. As Brown himself stated, "it was the record that introduced all that [demonic] imagery to the rock field, in England at least."
