After four studio albums, Akku Quintet, is releasing their first live album. Containing five songs from different stages of the bands history and recorded at different locations. For the last decade, the quintet has centered around drummer/composer Manuel Pasquinelli. Best-known for his work in Swiss post-rock minimalist outfit, SONAR (recently collaborating with David Torn and Bill Laswell). The current lineup has been together since 2016. "Live" is a great introduction to Akku Quintet. You'll hear the personality and character of each player, acting as a part of the ensemble, in order to create an atmospheric, minimalistic but livingly driving music.
